Welcome to Hoekstra Dressage!

The mission of Hoekstra Dressage Inc. (HDI), is to promote the art of dressage as a sport by providing high quality dressage clinics,lessons and training from Basic to Grand Prix level.

We at HDI, aim to be a top-level dressage center with a friendly and comfortable atmosphere surrounded by people all working towards the same goal.

How Do We Achieve Our Goals?

Trainer and owner, Eddo Hoekstra is fully devoted to dressage as a sport and as an art. He has competed internationally at FEI and nationally at Grand Prix. Eddo has trained with renowned coaches such as Robert Dover (USA) and currently rides with Walter Zettl (Canada).

Other coaches that have a strong influence on his riding/training approach are Jan Kluijtmans (Holland, George Williams (USA), Anne Rawle (USA) and Rick Klaassen (Germany)

Because of his training approach he is a very sought after clinician both in Canada and abroad. When at home at the HDI training facility in Peterborough, Eddo works with his students and their horses. Limited boarding is available at the training facility in conjunction with lessons.

HDI also has hosted several National Dressage shows each year and currently provides clinics from international dressage coaches.
